As predicted, the Blazers have signed a big guy to a 10 day contract. He played with JJ at Georgia Tech. and has a couple of other Blazer/ Oregon "connections" - he's a big redhead and his name is Luke (Schenscher). He's averaged about 10 points and 7 rebounds per game with Ft. Worth in the DL. Sounds like he might play rather than just be a "practice" player. His wiki page ishere.
