Only "news" might be, aside from Pritchard being a named candidate for the GM position,
official team policy on these hires is that no candidates will be publicly identified by name.
This was in response to Ford asking if Kiki Vandewegh in particular was a candidate.

One interesting thing, though: At the end, Ford asked Tod if there were
any teams he was particularly rooting for in the NCAA tournament,
and Tod mentioned the Ducks and Wazzou (with Wazzou emphasis),
but then added the Kansas Jayhawks, because he remembered
watching Kevin Pritchard play for the Jayhawks back in the day.
Just kind of two interesting points on that:

1) I didn't realize Pritchard was a Jayhawk, much less as an active, contributing baller.
That'd come in handy when scouting that one particuar team.

2) Leiweke isn't just aware of that; he remembers watching it, at the time.
So Pritchard had gotten Leiweke's attention, as a basketball assett,
years before this whole Blazers situation put him on our radar (or at least mine).
