ESPN's Page 2 decided to put together a list of teams and fans of teams for all professional sports who have experienced the most pain and suffering. The Blazers cracked the list at number 6. Here's the link:
Despite the seemingly obligatory reference to the Jail Blazers as well as questioning the recent resigning of Pryzbilla (which in my book is not debateable until after the 2nd year), it's pretty funny. It has a pretty elaborate formula for how each team is ranked.
Somehow Utah finish ahead of us at number 5... go figure. We've suffered way more than them. Then again, they were stuck with Stockton and Malone (two of the dirtiest players in the history of the NBA) as well as Sloan (who they still have... how old is that guy, anyway?) for over a decade. They have to be a top 3 rival team of the Blazers (L.A. the obvious #1) for the battles they played out in the 90's, don't they?
