Remembering Roy

I think we can all agree that the blazer core is Aldridge, Roy, and Oden. So much attention has been paid to the frontline of Aldridge and Oden that Roy has almost seemed a little lost in the shuffle. I dont need to remind most people on here that he was pretty much the reason we won 11 more games this year. He hit multiple big shots for us and had about 3 game winning layups that should have been whistled as fouls and were not. From the second I saw him at summer league last year, I could tell he was special. The way he gets to the rim like he's strolling down the street, he is rarely out of control and can flat out finish by scoring or passing. He is not overly atheletic but is so smart with where and when he asserts his quickness and power, I just love Roy's game. I love Lamarcus's potential as well and he had a few very nice games for us, 34pts and 17rbs comes to mind, but Roy walked into this club and changed the culture nearly overnight. He stood up to Randolph and made his presence felt on and off the floor. I guess what I am saying is I LOVE B ROY and what he brings to this team not only on the floor, but off the floor as a leader! He is going to be extremely important to our success because he is the only player on our roster that I want to take the last shot. Aldridge and Oden are great, but they cant go one on one when your down 3 with 10 secs left. Roy is that guy for us and has to be that guy with our current lineup. So I ask, how important is the natural to the blazers in comparison to Oden and Aldridge? I personally think he might be the most important player on our team when you consider his leadership. Thoughts??
