Rudy has been choosen as Forward for the Ideal 2007/2008 Team in the Sanish ACB. It is his second season in the Ideal ACB Quintet. He received the maximum points a player can get from fans, press, coaches and players.
What sensations have you being chosen the best forward in the ACB?
" It makes me very happy to form a part of the Ideal ACB Quintet. It transmits me more confidence and motivates me furthermore to fight for more things, beside recognizing myself that I am doing the things well ".
They are two consecutive seasons in the Ideal Quintet....
" It is a pride to be among the five better players in the best league of Europe. To achieve it it is necessary to work very hardly, collectivly and individually ".
Do you believe that this one is the best season of your career?.
" I am in a good moment, but every player must work to continue improving and to fulfill his challenges. The things are going out for me well but I prefer thinking that my better season still is for coming ".
In the perimeter you take as companions Marcelinho Huertas and Ricky Rubio, ex-companion and your companion, respectively, in the DKV Joventut...
" If to be in the Ideal Quintet already is something very special, to have two friends by my side yet makes it nicer. They are two excellent players and two big friends ".
For whom would you bet for the interior positions?
" I believe that Marc Gasol deserves it, after the great season that he has done. But also Jerome Moiso and Felipe Reyes, they have been at the highest level ".
You have managed to be the MVP of the King´s Cup and of the ULEB Cup. Would you like to achieve the third title?
" It would be very nice, slightly incredible for me, though it is not necessary to think much about this. I would prefer to win that title than obtaining the MVP award, would be the best news for the DKV Joventut ".
Next week starts the Playoff. Which are the aspirations of the DKV Joventut?
“目标是完成一个gr继续做梦eat season. We will try to follow the line that we have marked for us this season, to fight to the maximum and to compete in every game. Let's hope that this serves us to come to the highest success."
