Remember the 2005 draft? The one where we didn't take Chris Paul because we needed a shooting guard but had our point guard in Sebastian Telfair?
I didn't see the draft itself; we all knew the Blazers were picking Martell Webster, and the only suspense was over whether we'd take him at #3 or trade down (which we did). I did follow a lot of in-print and online accounts of the night, however, and there was one clear unforeseen highlight to the evening:
韦伯斯特的grandmother, Beulah Walker (who raised him), and her magnificent white hat.
Here's the thing: Even now, I can find accounts of the dramatic event just fine - but I can't find a picture to save my life! So I was wondering if any of you know where to find a photograph of Beulah Walker's draft-night hat. Was it really all it was made out to be? I wanna see it, consarnit!
