I recently listened to Chad Ford'spodcastwith Marc Stein. They talked about New York going after Mike D'Antoni for their head coach. My first thought was that D'Antoni, should try to use New York, to get a higher salary, from the team he really wants to coach. I did not think he should actually consider coaching the Knicks. As they are now, no one in their right mind would want to coach the Knicks. Most people think the team he should coach is Chicago. Then I though, what he really should do, is pull a Nate.

Nate left a good team, with a cheap owner, for a crappy team, with Zach Randolph, and a owner who is willing to spend. Everyone knows that the current Knicks roster will not work, and has to be blown up. It will take a few years to rebuild, but he can help do the building. I think D'Antoni should pull a Nate, and become the coach of the Knicks.
