Ok. I know I am not alone on this. And, I know it is not Blazers material. And I know this is my second fanpost in less than 3 hours.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>________________<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
I pride myself on my fanposts being Trailblazer related (almost every time), and relevant, and bold. No matter what I post, I really believe what I say. However I pride myself on living by one principle: I might be wrong. It might be about the best place to eat in town, or what happens after death, or what I accidentaly just typed into SB Nation.
All I ask here, and now, is the ability to edit my comments.
There have been a number of comments that I have made where I immediately either realize a spelling/grammar error, or think better of my own content. I realize that there are other replies, sometimes, on an already posted "I-immediately-regret-that-comment", and that it would therefore be difficult to erase after a comment has been made.
In that case, I propose an alternative. A "Redaction" option, added to the actions menu would serve nicely. Instead of erasing anything, the author of a post could choose to use a "strikeout" of the offensive content (whatever it may be). Therefore the thread could be kept intact without any extensive extra deletion programing having to be done by the great folks at SB Nation. There is already an edit feature on the Fanposts (which I 've used liberally, being faster at tynpig tehn tnihking) (If there is not a reply on your regretted post, I would also propose a "Delete" option.)These changes are really not that hard from a programming standpoint, and could prove very useful in the future.
I therefore, with all humility, call upon You. The Blazers Edge Army. You can make a statement here, a difference. Without question, Blazers Edge is the greatest success in the SB history, the best blog with the best fan-content. Not to mention the best Blog Combo ever in Ben and Dave, and together we can make just a little difference. It's not a lofty goal, I know. But I think there have been times we all wish we could have those tools. Am I right?
再一次,我可能是错的。
