Greetings Blazer Fans,

Last summer I was lucky enough to win the Blazers Edge Essay Contest, and I received as my winning prize an AutographedBrian Grantjersey. I was proud to win the contest and I excited about the prize.

So fast forward to today. I'm in my second year at the U of O Law School, and I'm the Commissioner of the Legal Basketball Association (LBA), a Law Student basketball league that is modeled after the NBA. Every year we put on a charity All-Star game where we raise money for different charities. This year we are raising money for Partners in Health, an amazing organization that provides health and educational services in Haiti.

I wanted to see if anyone was interested in buying the Brian Grant jersey that I won in the essay contest to help our fundraiser. I get zero dollars out of this deal, absolutely every penny that we raise goes directly to Partners in Health. I would never sell it otherwise. I wrote a couple pieces for anonline law journal here at schoolabout rebuilding efforts in Haiti, and I just felt like this was the right thing to do. I originally thought about putting the jersey in the raffle at the game, but I didn't want it to end up in the hands of someone who wouldn't appreciate it, so I thought I would make the offer here. I am asking $100 or best offer by the end of the day. If you don't want the jersey you can still help out by making a donation either directly to Partners in Health, or through our blog linked above.
