King Junk

Today's junk is all about Kings.

King: A head of state, who may or may not, depending on the style of government of a nation, exercise monarchal powers over a nation, usually called akingdom or a realm. A king is the second highest sovereign title, only looking up to an emperor.

King: The most important chess piece, of which each player has one, which the opponent has to checkmate in order to win. The king can move in any direction, including diagonally, to any adjacent square that is not attacked by an opponent's piece or pawn.

King: A city in Ontario, Indiana, North Carolina, Wisconsin. A county in Washington. The name of several islands, mountains, mountain ranges, rivers, and streets.

King: Name of albums and songs of several recording artists.

King: Name of several movies (and actors). Though "The Lion King" is maybe the most well-known.

When we were Kings: A documentary about the famous Rumble in the Jungle heavyweight championship match between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman held in former Zaire.

The King and I: A movie with Yul Brynner and Deborah Kerr

King Kong: A mystical big ape and movie star. Likes high places in New York.

King Camp Gillette: The inventor of the disposable safety razor blade.

King of Rock and Roll: Elvis Presley

The King: Also Elvis Presley, but several other people claim this nickname too. Among them Arnold Palmer, Pele, and Jack Kirby. And that basketball player from Ohio.

Kings: A basketball team from Rochester Cincinnati Kansas City, pardon me, Sacramento.
