Joe FreemanofThe Oregonianreports thatPortland's new-look front office got to know each otherover some hoops games in Bellevue, Washington. ------------------------ There were meetings to debate and discuss strategy and process. There were dinners so new staff members could get to know one another. Cho revealed his leadership philosophy and management style and everyone was given an open forum to share ideas. There also was a little competition. "Some of the best relationships I've ever made are with guys that I've played sports with," Cho said. "I just wanted to create some camaraderie. The reason I chose (the Bellevue Club) was because they had a basketball court. We could have gone to Cannon Beach but you can't find courts there." ------------------------ -- Ben Golliver | benjamin.golliver@gmail.com |Twitter
