Adrian WojnarowskiofYahoo! Sportsreportsthat the NBA officially informed its teams on Tuesday that "games through December 15th have been cancelled." The NBA hadpreviously announced cancellationsfor all November games.
The announcement, of course, is academic given that theNBPA拒绝了NBA的最新报价and moved to disband on Monday, a decision that could see the league's ongoing labor impasse headed for a lengthy court battle.
Still, if you're keeping score at home, the NBA has now cancelled six weeks of its season, totaling 324 lost games.
The Dec. 1 to Dec. 15 cancellation sees the following games wiped from the original schedule: a Dec. 2 home game against the Indiana Pacers, a Dec. 4 road game at the Los Angeles Lakers, a Dec. 5 home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, a Dec. 8 home game against the Boston Celtics, a Dec. 12 home game against the Sacramento Kings and a Dec. 14 home game against the Toronto Raptors.
For perspective, this now makes 21 of Portland's original 82 games that have been officially cancelled.
The NBA will issue an entirely new schedule if it ever decides to get around to playing games this season.
