Blazers C Marcus Camby Is "Questionable" For Tuesday With Right Ankle Injury

Update (Monday 1:15PM): From the Blazers: "X-rays on Portland center Marcus Camby (right ankle sprain) were negative. He is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game vs. Washington."

With 4:20 remaining in the fourth quarter of Sunday night's game between the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers, Blazers center Marcus Camby rolled his right ankle after a basket by Lakers guard Kobe Bryant. Camby was helped to the locker room by Blazers trainer Jay Jensen and reserve big man Chris Johnson.

Shortly after the injury, the Blazers reported that Camby would not return to the game due to a "right ankle injury."

The other healthy active centers on the roster include Jarron Collins and Chris Johnson. Collins' 10 second 10-day contract expires today, so the Blazers will need to make a decision regarding whether or not to retain him. Forward LaMarcus Aldridge also regularly plays center. Center Greg Oden is out for the year following microfracture knee surgery.
