Baptist: Former Blazers C Greg Oden Back In The Gym

Bob Baptistof theColumbus Dispatchbriefly notesthat former Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden, who is still recovering from multiple knee surgeries earlier this year, was back in the gym this week with his alma mater, The Ohio State University Buckeyes.

...Aside from Greg Oden riding an exercise bike off to the side and, afterward, shooting flat-footed in the lane, here are some of my first impressions for the 2012-13 season...

Oden, 24, was reportedly taking summer classes at Ohio State with plans to sit out the 2012-13 season and pick up his NBA comeback, if possible, later on down the road. He has not played an NBA game since December 5, 2009. He alsorecently expressed a desireto be a gym teacher sometime in the future.
