I was looking for an autographed ball or jersey for my all-time favorite blazer, and I noticed something. There is a whole lot more autographed
Rocketsmaterial than Blazers material. It reminded me of seeing a Clyde Drexler "shop" in the Houston airport. I also realize he is an announcer for the Rockets. My question is: "When Clyde talks about his career, does he view himself as a Blazer first?" He was on the downward slope of his career when he joined the Rockets. When Charles Barkley got traded to the Rockets, he consumed most of the remaining Oxygen from the media. I loved when Barkley said, "now Houston has two bona fide all-stars", referring to himself and Hakeem Olajuwon, with Clyde sitting right next to him. The hype of Clyde Drexler was all Blazers. I need someone to tell me that Clyde does not view himself as a Rocket when he looks back, even if he has deep roots to Houston.
