How blacknoiseNW and NBA 2k12 convinced me that Elliott Williams is our star PGOTF

The NBA 2k games didn't start respecting PG attributes until maybe 2k11. I went as far as to run Eddy Curry at PG in a youtube video of 2k9 displaying how easy it was for him to dribble in the paint and make precision passes through the hapless defense. Until 2k11 it made more sense for Celtics fans to bench Rondo and just run Allen at PG. I was pleasantly surprised to have Elliott Williams dominate the Mavs when after trailing by ten in the 2nd quarter I gave him the plug at PG. Williams locked up Kidd and blew by him at will. His early dunks forced the improved AI to back down. He only had 4 assist with his 20 points but three of those 4 assist were to wide open shooters. Three assist were to three point shooters. One of whom being Batum carried his hot shooting to a key 17 point second half. Elliott was the Sprite spark off the bench and the Trail Blazers won by three. Flash back to my last fanshot- I noted that BJ Young was testing his draft stock. BlacknoiseNW stated that the simple solution was to just go with Williams. Williams and Young are similar in the sense that neither are really PGs. My argument was the Young was a PG in highschool and his coach didnt want to feature him as a PG. That would have made him a lock to go one and done. Besides he was tearing it up as a scorer off the bench early on and the team had decent enough floor generals. While I believe that it is more likely that Young would develop into a scoring PG than Williams I have to go back to that 2k12 game where Williams was way too quick for the Mavs and his offense collapsed their defense which led to Batum finding his rhythm. Along with Aldridge it was the first time in eons that it felt like I was playing with an unstoppable scoring option at PG and three star players. So maybe BlacknoiseNW is right.
