The major problem that the blazers have is that they have no center and two power forwards.
The pistons on the other hand have no reliable power forwards and two very good centers.

If we could swap LMA for Monroe it would benefit both clubs and it could open up a starting role for hickson as powerforward. Keep in mind he is young and improving and his defense isn't THAT much worse than LMA's.

Of course we would have to take on a bad contract to match prices a so what would you say about this trade.

Greg monroe - $3.2 million

Rodney Stuckley - $8.5 mil

kim english - $473 k

LMA - 16.5 mil

Detroit gets a top powerforward to pair with drummond

Blazers finally get a center and bench pieces without leaving a huge void at powerforward. Oh and I garantuee that hickson would be more productive at his natural position.

As much as I love LMA this would be a good trade to get younger and still be in the win now mode.
