Joe KaiserofESPN.com's NBA Rumor Centralwonderswhether the Portland Trail Blazers would be interested in Chicago Bulls guard Nate Robinson, who will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
Anyone who watched Nate Robinson's exhilerating Game 4 performance against Brooklyn understands that Chicago's guard is capable of taking a game over. And after two-straight seasons of settling for a one-year deal worth at or near the veteran's minimum, we have to wonder what Robinson will be worth on the open market when he becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer.
...
Teams like Dallas and Detroit could be in the market for a veteran guard who can handle the ball and score, but that will be much clearer after the NBA draft in June, when Trey Burke and Michael Carter-Williams are expected to both be selected in the first 14 picks. Other teams like Portland and Phoenix with money to spend and the need for guard depth could also be suitors.
Robinson, 28, is a Seattle native. He averaged 13.1 points, 4.4 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game this season.
