15th man?

Olshey has already gone on record saying that he wants to stay flexible in terms of the roster and having an "open" spot going into training camp. However, with Meyers channeling his innerChanning Fryein summer league, it is clear that another backup center is needed, preferably a veteran who can rebound and defend.

With guys like Jermaine O'Neal and Turiaf signing elsewhere, the options are growing thin. Does Olshey expect a veteran presence to become available over the next three months, or is he missing out on a veteran who can help this team make the playoffs?

I for one, would like to seeBernard Jamesplaying an enforcer role for the Blazers next season, and he's available.
