Wesley Matthews Releases Another Recovery Workout Video

Matthews' camp wants everyone to know that he's well on his way to an NBA return.

ESPN Marc Steintweeted out a link to video ofWesley Matthewsworking out as he recovers from last season's Achilles injury.

The author, Gameshape Inc, is a professional training outfit working with "training and injury prevention", led by a former strength and conditioning coach with theLos Angeles Clippers组织形式zation.

The timing of the recovery video, conjoined with the opening of free agency, is likely not accidental.

Matthews injured his Achilles on March 5th, 2015 in a game against theDallas Mavericks. The injury caused him to miss the rest of the season. He is now an unrestricted free agent and is reportedlyseeking a $15 million per year contract.

Matthews has played in the NBA 6 seasons, 5 with theTrail Blazers, with a career average of 14.3 ppg off of 44.3% shooting from the field, 39.3% from the three-point arc.
