Gameday Thread: Dallas Mavericks vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Finally, the Portland Trail Blazers return home. Tonight is the end of a ten-game stretch where the Blazers traveled between every single game. They arrived home late last night after adisastrous night in Sacramento. Unfortunately, Dallas is early in their road trip, and are rested and waiting for them. After three straight losses, Portland really needs a win before they face the back-to-back onslaught of the Spurs and Raptors. Can they take care of business against a very bad Mavs team? We’ll see.

The Blazers hope to see the return of Al-Farouq Aminu tonight, but Evan Turner won’t play, according Casey Holdahl.

Sticking with the tradition of Christmas music related to the opponent, let’s pick an actual, current, popular singer. A foreign concept for me! Demi Lovato was born in Dallas, and I don’t feel like going through her entire bio. It’s not hard to find it. Anyway, here she is doing a cover of the last song you’d expect, Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmastime”. Enjoy the gloriousness of the concept.
