Damian Lillard sprained an ankle in tonight’s game against the San Antonio Spurs at the Moda Center (video at top). With 7:22 left in the fourth quarter Lillard came down awkwardly on Dewayne Dedmon’s foot and rolled his left ankle. Coach Stotts called timeout as soon as he was permitted and Lillard got treatment on the sideline.
When play resumed, Lillard was back out on the floor but clearly in pain, favoring that ankle and unable to move at full speed. Two minutes later, Allen Crabbe came into the game and Lillard went to the bench.
