Former Portland Trail Blazer Tim Frazier is expected to rejoin the Maine Red Claws of the NBA D-League, where he earned Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year honors in 2015.According to reports, Frazier was in attendance for the Red Claws’ 138-131 victory over the Deleware 87ers on Thursday night. The Red Claws retained his D-League rights when he signed with the Blazers last March, and it isanticipated that he will join themto face the Sioux Fall Skyforce this weekend, after signing.

Frazier waswaived by the Blazerson February 18, 2016, to make room for the incomingAnderson Varejao, who was also waived. Through 40 total games with the Blazers, Frazier averaged 1.9 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. During his previous stint with the Red Claws, Frazier averaged 16.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 9.5 assists per game. Reproducing this level of individual success could increase his odds of landing another NBA contract.
