we've heard it a million times before, "you can't win without star players!" Star players, plural. We have come to see that Lillard is an All-Star in this league, snubbed often but, an All-Star none-the-less. But we need a second All-Star and a third later on down the road if we want to compete for championships with these super teams that form every couple years. Does CJ have it in him to become an All-Star next season? I think he does. I think both CJ and Dame will garner All-Star votes and one might even be a coaches choice. As long as they make the game or are considered a big time snub, they are All-Star caliber and that's what we need.
If Dame and CJ are our two All-Stars, who do you think will become the third possible All-Star for the team? Ezeli (if healthy)? Meyer Leonard (if shoulder holds up)? Mason Plumlee (if he averages 10 assists)? Evan Turner? Montero? The Free Throw Guy? All of these guys have a chance but who will rise from the role players to emerge a star in this league? Who do you want it to be?
