For Crabbe to live up to his deal, the biggest and most glaring area for improvement is on the defensive end. Crabbe has shown flashes of being the guy who can legitimately fill the modern NBA role for a 3-and-D player.

He has a penchant to switch off and lose his man, he gets swallowed up by screens, and at times he can get pushed around by bigger players. When those are your biggest worries defensively, it's a problem but one that is definitely solvable.
