Simply put, I want to see our beloved Trail Blazers win a championship during my lifetime. So many things have to go right for this to happen to a small-market team it seems wise to take the longest view possible.

I'm 38, and, knock on wood, relatively healthy, so I am giving the team multiple decades to pull this off. After Walton's injuries, Bowie over Jordan, getting post prime Sabonis, 2000's Game 7, Roy's and Oden's knees etc,. surely the basketball gods will smile on Portland in the next forty years...right?
