Meyers dilemma & Olshey opinion

  • What can I sign so that Meyers "Miles" Leonard is not allowed to wear #11? Are you not outraged that this # has not crossed over yet? Is it not time? What needs to happen? Does Sheed need to throw a towel @ Paul Allen for him to wake up?
  • Lillard's flaws are a real problem. It took a first rounder for Olshey to opt for Nurkic over Okafor? That does not give me confidence. I do not have any confidence that Olshey would ever do a daring/championship level move, so it looks like Lillard is here to stay (I would have preferred a trade, but I was so happy that LA left because he is not a #1 option = I am frustrated because Lillard thinks of himself as the "man" just like LA did, but if Lillard is your #1 option then problems come up sooner or later). So this team has 4 players. Lillard (1) & CJ (2) really need to be crossing their fingers for a legit wing...well...just some real talent will do. Thank Sabonis that Olshey apparently was recently "forced" to make a move for a player with some raw passion & heart - Nurkic (3). & Vonleh (4). I would have traded Lillard last year, but I suppose I am in the minority. I will elaborate if need be, but his limitations/ceiling should be noticeable. This is not about trade machines - it is about #11 & a little Olshey
  1. Napier = No comment
  2. 空中监狱=不予置评
  3. Crabbe = I hate letting players walk, but I would have told Crabbe to get ready for some Brooklyn hate aimed at his one dimension
  4. Qman = No comment
  5. Turner = I died a little when I heard of this signing. His shot makes me die a little more every time I see it. He comes with death
  6. Harkless =他是奇怪的球员(李ke #11 Miles) where his set shot does not translate to shooting on the move. He is a nice enough player, but the Blazers need to have higher standards if they want to achieve anything ("we got Harkless for basically nothing!!!" is translated into truth as "we got Harkless for basically nothing & then he continued his career elsewhere.")
  7. Layman = No comment
  8. Aminu = All players miss badly, but only has Aminu hit those very special parts on the sides of the backboard. It is impressive if you stand back and forget that the goal of a shot is to get the ball in the...goal
  9. Davis = A fitting player to "play" under Mo Cheeks 2.0
  10. Leonard = He has no balance to his game. He is the token prospect aka the countless players who never put anything together. His shot looks like a tent that is not folding properly. Sad, but not as sad as the decision to start Leonard against the Jazz. Not my favorite tune. Quick & respectful deaths are best. Leonard should have just known there is a new Cop in town. Now is not the time to sugar coat & Leonard is not the coat. He is the coat rack & it should have been his job to hold Nurkic's blanky if need be. Nurkic rocked Gobert to the ground on a simple shot (possibly the best Blazer play of the year so far) & made Favors look like a child. I hope Nurkic enjoyed Gobert's soul for a nice snack on the plane back to R.I.P. city
  11. Ezeli = No comment
  • Olshey is not a genius. Far from it. Sorry. Truth. It feels like East Berlin whenever I hear his mind numbing explanations. Everything bleeds...into everything else and all of his Phony has built a team with no soul. I hope for that to change because time is a wasting. He should not have to explain why he traded for Nurkic. I would have done a straight up swap of Plumlee for Nurkic without hesitating. A 1st round draft pick as well!!! Thank you Denver. I hated all the signings this summer, but if those signings "forced" Olshey to make a good move for "financial" reasons, then I love how much I hate all of those signings
  1. Lillard's draft workout was ridiculous = +1 Olshey
  2. First rounder for Afflalo rental as a band aid on a sinking ship (this second band aid was a sin - the first "forgivable" band aid that also cost a first rounder was Gerald Wallace) & fail to trade LA for failing to see the writing on the wall written with painstaking attention to detail = -2 Olshey
  3. I do not get everything write...I do not get everything Wright...what I am saying is that I am not always wrong & I tweeted Paul Allen like an idiot to draft Giannis (I would have taken him #1 without blinking and said so for months = sometimes things are OBVIOUS) = 0 Olshey (CJ is not a scrub)
  4. Over pay Crabbe & Turner (& resign mediocrity) = -2 Olshey
  5. ROLO band aid (sentimental reasons) = +1 Olshey
  6. Sign players who are just competent enough (Davis/etc) one year...trade the same players for donuts on the dollar = -1 Olshey
  7. Batum for Vonleh = I want Vonleh to be let loose and have the rest of the year be an experiment. He is so damn young & plays younger. Every team needs at least one project I guess = 0 Olshey (possible +1 - fingers crossing so hard that they may fall off before Vonleh realizes any of his potential - he could be all smoke & mirrors, but I think he can put it all together in the same way Miles Leonard never will. It is on him. Patience is hard sometimes)
  8. First rounder for Plumlee & Con Air (the Nets are a JOKE and are a repeater on this list) = +1 Olshey
  9. Plumlee & second rounder for NURKIC & first rounder = I want to put a ZERO here for Olshey because I do not think he would have done this on his own, but I do not care about the magic behind the curtain because I am just thankful this trade happened. I wanted Nurkic & Jokic during their draft - my jaw hit the floor when the Nuggets landed both. I hate the Nuggets for snagging Hernangomez as well. Some teams truly know how to scout. Their recent track record supports IQ rather than luck. I should give Olshey a reluctant +1 for the "reluctant" trade, but he gets a very enthusiastic +1 now that Nurkic is a Blazer who, for the rest of the year, will wear a cape that looks like a 2017 first round draft pick pass
  • Olshey数学不让他成为一个天才。标准。If you want to worship, then worship #27 because he play low post...he eat meat...he center...he future...he hopefully no get injured --- knock on the hardwoods. I am going a little full throttle on a young center who plays a little loose & needs to get some polish. Not too much polish because he plays the game with no manufactured bubble crowding in on his passion. Every other player on the Blazers is like a zombie. They carry around their limitations like gold stars - they are apparently oblivious to the reality of the situation as seen in their frustration with the season. The fall off this season should have been expected because, for me, it is right on time. The honeymoon is over > Lillard & CJ are on the clock to see if they can make their teammates better. The answer to that question has been painful. We know they are good. That's not the point & being adequate should not be the goal. The blazers have 2 players / "leaders" who they will never trade due to Olshey Ego (Lillard & CJ) & 1 project (Vonleh) & 1 beast (Nurkic). Some serious action needs to happen for the Blazers to be a legit puzzle piece in the playoffs. Right now (after an important summer spent over spending) they are one of the middle pieces. They have a lot of work to do in order to be one of the puzzle's corner pieces. The puzzle that I am interested in looks a lot like the guy in the video below

Forget Olshey
The point...
I will sign whatever...whenever...however
It needs to happen AESOP
