With the deadline fast approaching, and with the Blazers still needing to make more moves, I thought it might be fun to see who everyone thinks is the mostly likely to be traded by Thursday's deadline. I didn't include Dame or CJ because whether people like it or not, they are the foundation of the team, and they are who Olshey has hitched his wagon to. Also, I don't see Portland possibly breaking up the duo until the summer of 2018, at the earliest (though I still think unlikely). I've said multiple times that until the team upgrades the overall talent of the team (which Nurkic may or may not be the step in the right direction), and how McLillard succeeds or not with them, is when it will be time to decide to break them up or not.
So everyone else is fair game.
I don't think Crabbe, Turner or Nurkic will be traded on Thursday because 1.) Crabbe can veto a trade, 2.) Turner's contract (and he is hurt), and 3.) Nurkic just got here, and I think, they want to see what he can do with the back court. Aminu & Harkless probably could bring something decent back, but I think, right now, Portland values what each of them brings to the team more; especially Aminu's defense. Also it doesn't hurt that Aminu has played better off the bench.
I think the most likely one that could get traded is Ed Davis because his play hasn't been as good as last year, and I can see a team making a run in the playoffs using Davis to shore up their bench, and of the bigs left on the roster, he probably has the most value to other teams (sorry Leonard & Vonleh).
So there you have it. What does everyone else think?
