As our beloved Portland Trailblazers are off enjoying their summer break, us Bedger's are hard at work trying to figure out what new player will don the pinwheel this coming June. The draft is drastically different in terms of acquiring talent than free agency, but I am going to apply some of Neil Olshey's habits, and use some logical narrowing of targets to try and pin point the players that will get their names called by the Blazer trust this summer. Now keep in mind, the Blazers have three picks coming, but it is highly likely that one or more of those picks go to another team.
This is not an element I will be working with in this post, as that would lead to too many variables coming into play. So let's keep it easy and stick to our team, and it's needs for the time being. Below, are the players that I have identified as potential Neil Olshey targets based on his affinity of working with certain agents, and the needs of the Blazer's current roster. Players like Caleb Swanigan or OG Anunoby are not on the list, as they did not meet one of the two requirements listed. Now, obviously the Blazers can draft whoever they want to, but for this post, the requirements indicated shall stand.
Of the players listed below, whom do you feel likely to join our team this summer, and why?
Jordan Bell – Aaron Mintz
Jarret Allen – Jim Tanner
Zach Collins – Mark Bartelstein
贾斯汀·杰克逊——吉姆·坦纳
Justin Patton – Andy Miller
Rodions Kuricks – Happy Walters
Harry Giles – Jeff Schwartz
Thomas Bryant – Happy Walters
Jonathan Jeanne – Bouna Ndiaye
