Stokes, 23, was selected by theUtah Jazzwith pick No. 35 in the 2014NBA Draftand immediately traded to the孟菲斯灰熊. He was traded twice more—to theMiami Heatand later theNew Orleans Pelicans—early in his NBA career. He last played for the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA G-League.
As part of the Trail Blazers’ Summer League squad, Stokes shined after rookie centerZach Collinssuccumbed to injury, averaging 13.0 points and 7.6 rebounds per game for the duration of the exhibition.
