The Blazers finished last season with 41 wins, falling below theirpre-season over/underof 46.5. Super Book’s win totals put Portland at 8th in the Western Conference just behind the LAClippers(43.5) and ahead of theUtah Jazz(40.5).
Here is the complete list of the Super Book win totals sorted in order by conference according toSherman’stweets:

Perhaps most surprising is thePhiladelphia 76ers’ number of 42.5, which would put them as the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. However, the Vegas win totals are not necessarily a reflection of how teams are projected to do. Instead, they are designed to get an equal amount of betting on either side. Teams that receive more hype often have inflated win totals.
Earlier this monthESPN’s Kevin Pelton projectedPortland to win 43.8 games, although that win total in his prediction has the Blazers falling out of the playoffs as the 10-seed.
What do you think? Is 42.5 a fair line? Would you take the over or the under?
