Cavaliers, Celtics Complete Kyrie Irving Trade in Exchange for an Extra Second-Round Pick

Kyrie Irvingis headed to the波士顿凯尔特人队after extended negotiations in which theCleveland Cavalierswill receive a second-round draft pick in addition toIsaiah Thomas,Jae Crowder,Ante Zizic, and a first-round pick originally belonging to theBrooklyn Nets. The 25-year old Irving moves on from Cleveland, who drafted him with the first overall pick in the 2011NBA Draft. He averaged a career-high 25.2 points last season, 21.6 overall in six seasons with the Cavaliers.

The 28-year old Thomas is coming off a career year with 28.2 points and 5.9 assists, and was named to the All-NBA Second Team. The 27-year old Crowder averaged 13.9 points and 5.8 rebounds last season. The pick from Brooklyn is unprotected.
