FormerHouston Rocketssmall forward Troy Williams has agreed to a 10-day contract with the Knicks on Monday night and is expected to join the team Wednesday, legendary AAU coach Boo Williams, Troy’s uncle, told SNY.tv.
”Yeah, he agreed to a 10-day with them,” Boo Williams said by phone. “He had four other offers [including Portland and Dallas] but he wanted to go to New York.”
The 6-foot-7 Williams was cut by the Houston Rockets after only appearing in four games with the team this season. He appeared in 30 total games last season with the Rockets and孟菲斯灰熊.
He’s spent a good chunk of his NBA career in the G-League, flashing some wicked athleticism:
