Quick: Evan Turner’s Injury Could Force Lineup Changes

With Evan Turner questionable, Terry Stotts may have to bump Maurice Harkless back into the starting lineup.

TheTrail Blazersstarted theNBA PlayoffswithMaurice Harklessout due to injury, but after his return and a subsequent injury toEvan Turner, he may be in line to start Game 3. Harkless returned in Game 2 after missing almost a month due to knee surgery, posting 11 points (on 5-of-5 shooting) and five rebounds. Turner was forced to leave Game 2 with a toe injury, andhe’s now listed as questionablewith a toe contusion.

Turner’s status is still up in the air,Terry Stotts告诉Jason Quick of NBC Sports Northwest:

“Evan is always positive and he said he will be ready to go,’’ Stotts said Wednesday in New Orleans. “We will see how it goes tomorrow. He was in no position to play last night (after suffering the injury).’’

Harkless played 27 minutes in Game 2 so he’s already at starter-level minutes after recovery. He’d been a consistent starter since February before going down with injury, playing some of his best basketball of the season during Portland’s 13-game win streak.

The Blazers take on the Pelicans in New Orleans at 6 p.m. PT.
