Blazers can shoot for the moon and try and get L. James, K. Leonard, or P. George but the odds are slim to none!
Being realistic I think we would have a chance and could benefit greatly from getting a few of the following free agents:
Jabari Parker 6.7 million, Tyreke Evans 3.2 million, Marcus Smart 4.5 million, Wayne Ellington 6.2 million, and Aaron Gordon 5.5 million. I would love to have Marcus Smart and with Rozier playing so well Celtics cannot keep both of them. Smart plays on both sides of the ball and is very tough and 6ft4 perfect SG. Also would love to have Jabari Parker who may be available and I think will become a very good player. Tyreke Evans would be a great pick up as a SG/SF and can score, defend, and rebound. The bottom line is the Blazers need to acquire some players that have toughness, ability, and play on both sides of the floor. I like our Blazers team but we are too soft and will never contend with this roster and anyone that follows basketball knows it. Even Olshey knows it but his Ego is getting in the way of admitting it. If the Blazers just want to continue to make the playoffs and lose in the 1st round than we keep doing what we are doing! I will alway be a BLAZER Fan! But it is easy to see what doesn't work and that change needs to happen.
