Former Trail Blazers Guard Allen Crabbe Saves School with Donation

The three-point shooter is putting his paycheck to productive use.

当我们啊ait the dawn ofNBA Free Agencyfor thePortland Trail Blazers, a little news from yesterday about one of their former players, Allen Crabbe.According to TMZ, the three-point-shooting gave one heck of an assistto Frederick K.C. Price III Christian School in south Los Angeles, where he spent his elementary and high school years. The school was preparing to close its doors when Crabbe came through with “a substantial 6-figure check”.

“I was at that school practically my whole life,” Allen says. “I’m just happy and feel blessed to be in a position now to do this.”

Thanks to Crabbe ... 175 kids don’t have to find a new school next year -- and school officials are calling it a “miracle.”

The Blazers acquired Crabbe from theCleveland Cavaliersafter he was selected 31st overall in the 2013NBA Draft. He remained in Portland for four seasons.
