Danny Chau of The Ringersuggests that the swap may be a preludeto a more significant deal. The ideal target for the Suns?Trail Blazersshooting guardCJ McCollum.

Chau expresses admiration for the young assets in Phoenix hands after the trade.

As for the Suns, they are now in possession of the best haul from the 2018 draft (just a reminder, they now have [Deandre] Ayton, [Mikal] Bridges, [Élie] Okobo, and [De’Anthony] Melton on their roster).

A home run for Phoenix would involve acquiring C.J.McCollum, who would instantly create one of the most dynamic offensive backcourts in the league with Booker by his side. The Blazers may be clinging onto the facade of last season’s 3-seed, but would they be able to ignore the goodie bag the Suns are capable of putting together?

McCollum trade suggestions are nothing new for Blazers fans. Does this combination of young talent weigh enough to make you consider it?
