I was born and raised in Portland. I first became a Blazers fan in 2009, when I watched the Blazers lose to the Rockets in the Playoffs. I was still in elementary school at the time. Eventually, that got me interested enough to read the sports section of the Oregonian, which would always be at the front of my driveway in the morning. This became my morning ritual before school until my parents decided to cancel our newspaper subscription with the rise of digital news outlets. Then my morning ritual became watching First Take. Throughout this process, I continued to follow the Blazers, watching their games and eventually discovering this website from a friend. I still continue to support the Blazers to this day, but honestly I don't really know why.
