The presence of Nurkic has been sorely missed in his absence. Nurkicinjured his wristin a matchup against the IndianapolisPacerson January 14th, 2021. Prior to the injury, he had only played eight games in the 2020-21 season. He was averaging 10.4 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. Nurkic was originally expected to miss eight weeks with the wrist fracture; however, he sustained a calf strain during his recovery, which impeded his return to the court.
Rip City has certainly missed seeing the Bosnian Beast on the court, and we look forward to seeing him work against the Magic.
