Hey all. Well, that suck-o'ed. Clippers were in front by 10 after three and went on to lose not only the game but our second lottery pick. Poop on a stick.

On the bright side, we still get a lottery pick (currently at #6), and a 2nd round pick (#36). Who do you take? Or you can prognosticate a trade up/trade down, or trading one of those picks (or both??) for a veteran player. You can also paint a scenario where the lottery balls are kind, moving us up in the draft, or are cruel, dropping us down and making us take a lesser player.

I will imagine that the lottery balls move us up one spot, so we pick #5. WITH THE NUMBER 5 PICK IN THE 2022 NBA DRAFT, THE PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS SELECT.....

KEEGAN MURRAY, PF Iowa. We need a bigger PF capable of scoring and we need them now. Murray I would think should start immediately at the 4. Terrific scorer and rebounder. At least decent defender I would imagine at 2 blocks a game this last year.

At #36 in the 2nd round:

Gonna double down on wings with SF/PF JULIAN CHAMPAGNIE, St. Johns. Great scorer and rebounder, but could improve outside shooting and defense a bit.

After that, I don't how we would be able to lure Jamal Murray, but him together with my picks and some luck with health next year, this could be the start of a quick rebuild (true contenders still a futuristic goal). What are your draft/offseason plans now that we don't get a 2nd lottery pick, folks?
