Welcome to the third Game Day Open Thread of thePortland Trail Blazers’ 2023-24 regular season!
Tonight, the Trail Blazers will look to get into the win column for the first time this season in a road matchup against thePhiladelphia 76ers. Philly star James Harden won’t suit up, and reigning MVP Joel Embiid is likely to join him in street clothes to prioritize rest. Does that give Scoot Henderson, Deandre Ayton and company enough of a boost to overcome the talented 76ers on the road? Time to find out!
The concept of a Game Day Open Thread is easy. We start one before the game that carries through the first half. Since comments often overflow at that point, we start a fresh one for the second half. Throughout the game, you get to talk with fellow fans about the action!
