Since the news broke a little while ago, I've been wondering would pursuing James harden in free agency be a good move for the blazers?
In my mind it kinda makes sense from the stand point of retaining Damian Lillard and keeping him happy. That being said I see both sides. After all he's been one of those players that has changed teams so frequently that I don't know if he'd be the right fit.
Pro's:
He's a supurb playmaker and I have know doubt that he would be able to set Dame up for some really good looks.
Another pro is that Harden is great at executeing out of a pick and roll and dame is as well. I think that it would make the Lillard & Nurkic pick and roll more interesting when you include James Harden in the lineup.
Con's:
It doesn't really do much in the way of fixing our biggest problem of defense.
and having a player like harden who is a major isolation scoring threat might just stagnate the offence.
