I never want to see Dame traded, but if we had to .......
Dame goes to Cleveland
Garland goes to Houston
Portland gets Mobley and as many of Houston's 1st round picks as you can get, and they have quite a few
Cleveland has proven that they are willing to take a big swing. A big three of Dame, Mitchell and Allen would be a threat in the east. Throw in the fact that Portland could assist Cleveland in obtaining Grant in a sign-and-trade to give them a big four. Cleveland has enough mid level contracts (Okoro, Osman, Rubio, Windler, Wade) to get a sign-and-trade done. Portland could pick up a guy like Okoro and some second round picks which Cleveland has many of.
Houston gets one of the best young point guards in the league - an all-star that they can absorb into their salary cap room. Throw the rest of their money at Lopez and you bookend all of their quality young 2's, 3's and 4's (Green, Porter, ASmith, Eason, AThompson) with Garland and Lopez. They immediately move from lottery team to playoff team.
Portland commits to a path of young players to develop - Scoot, Ant, Sharpe, Mobley, Okoro, Watford. They suck for a couple of years giving them a few more lottery picks, and with the picks they get from Houston they continue adding young players - basically adopting the Warriors model of trying to build a championship team from within.
