Option A: (most likely) Draft best available at 3. Tinker with the roster (Grant, Simons, Nurk, etc.). Continue to flounder until the youth grows and Dame wanes.

Option B: (also likely) Trade #3 pick for mid-career, borderline allstar (Siakam, OG, DeRozan, Levine, KAT, etc.). Continue to flounder until the youth grows and Dame wanes.

Option C: (still better than A or B) Make hideous Lillard trade suggested by media getting back weak pieces and multiple draft picks that land outside of lottery (Knicks, Heat, Nets, etc). Grow through the draft, build a championship roster, maybe.

Option D: (obvious choice) Trade Lillard to a bubble team centered around a hot young prospect and/or strong draft pick and filler (Garland/Mobley, Barnes, Jabari Smith & 4th pick, etc.). Grow faster through the draft, build a championship roster, maybe. Be interesting again.
