I hope Damian Lillard was watching the Seattle Mariners pregame tonight. Honoring Felix Hernandez’s induction into the Mariner’s hall of fame after his 15 year career played with only one team. The outpouring of love from the fans was something to behold. He never won a championship but he won the fan’s and the whole community’s hearts. Damian will be a Blazer’s fan favorite for many years but like Clyde Drexler, leaving now will diminish the Damian Lillard story in Portland.
