你想下个赛季后,教练谁?

Assuming Chauncey doesn't last past the 23-24 season I wonder what direction Jody/Vulcan will go with the coaching staff. There are still a few good options (for now) with prior head coaching experience and a few assistants I think are due.

--Those with prior HC experience:

Mike D'Antoni - Good overall coach but maybe not the best for a developing team and he seems to have a pretty cushy job now as some sort of coaching advisor in NOLA.

Dave Joerger - Did pretty well overall as a head coach and most recently worked under Doc Rivers before cancer caused him to step down. Not sure about his current condition or desires to get back in the game but seems like a good, youngish dude with a decent track record with developing players

Kenny Atkinson - Not a great record as a HC but has been an assistant under Lue and Kerr since leaving Brooklyn so maybe he has learned a few things?

Mike Budenholzer - Champion coach in Milwaukie. If his health and outlook are good he should be the next coach hired somewhere.

--Assistants who may be ready for the next step:

Dan Craig - Great development coach. Not sure about Xs and Os but having been in the "Heat Culture" for over a decade and now under Lue he could be ready to break out.

Doug Christie - Always seemed like a high BBIQ player and great defensively. Only been an assistant for a couple years so he may not be ready yet.

David Adelman - The name is all you need, right? Has been with the Nuggets for over 5 years and is their lead assistant. Bring him home!

Any others you would like to see in Portland?
