Shooting percentages as they apply to certain areas of the court. Note who one of the best shooters in the NBA from the wing is. Check out the guy dominating under the hoop as well. Pretty impressive for a 6'9'' guy.

"I just hate that people think they know where I'm going, because I don't know where I'm going," said Williams, who isn't allowed to talk with other teams since he hasn't opted out yet. "So there's no way for them to know, or assume that I'm going to Dallas or that I'm staying here. I don't know. There could be another team that comes into the picture."-Deron Williams

Quick: Chad Buchanan's Track Record "Probably Cost" Him GM Job

42
Jason QuickofThe Oregonianhas athorough look backat the Portland Trail Blazers' year without a GM and writes that Acting GM Chad Buchanan probably didn't do enough to get the full-time job. ---------------------------------- Some of the fall can be attributed to bad luck. And some of the blame can be directed at Buchanan, the 39-year-old interim general manager who previously had been happy sitting in arenas around the country eyeing the next Elliot Williams as the team's director of college scouting. Buchanan has whiffed on some decisions since taking over for Cho. His biggest mistakes were trading Andre Miller and Rudy Fernandez for Raymond Felton, and drafting Nolan Smith instead of Kenneth Faried. And he strayed from the Blazers' team-oriented culture by signing Jamal Crawford. Those decisions have probably cost Buchanan a shot at the real job. He admits he is shaken by his miscalculations in assembling this year's disaster, even though many of the decisions were made under the duress of a hurried end to the lockout and the deterioration of Brandon Roy and Greg Oden. He is a leader in the making, but not quite ready to run a team, both from a professional and personal standpoint. He still relishes being a daddy, and talked Tuesday of his son being at the age where he follows him to the door when he leaves for work, and how it tugs at his heartstrings to see him stay at the door until his car is out of sight. ---------------------------------- -- Ben Golliver | benjamin.golliver@gmail.com |Twitter

Is Kobe an amenesty target?

30

After reading the numbers on Kobe's contract, it got me thinking might Buss be wise throwing Kobe under the bus through amenesty in order to rebuild around Bynum? This assumes that no one wants to trade for his contract. Personally, I think it might make the most financial sense to the Lakers. Trade Gasol for a future star(draft pick + scraps) and then throw Kobe to the curb if he gets no takers. Besides this discussion gives us sometbody woes besides the Blazers woes to discuss.
