Some silly sounds and text over the Blazers comeback against the Mavs
He'd be a huge upgrade over Price or Nolan from a backup perspective, but at what cost? Should we go after him?
Damian Lillard on the cover of Dime #72
LMA is HUGE. He’s taller than every player on the Wolves and his arms/chest are gigantic. I never realized that LMA was that big before. Unbelievable. Pek still has a broader chest, but not by a lot. Damian (L)illard is compact but built like a brick house. Outside of LMA, he was the most muscular player on the floor last night. I was worried his size would hold him back in this league, but not anymore. Also: [...] Ricky (and Lillard) both play the point guard position with that thousand-yard stare that makes it seem like they aren’t looking at/focused on anything when they’re actually processing a million little things at once.
Scott Danger (teewolves.com) had some cool observations from sitting courtside at the Blazers-Wolves game. He shared them in acomment threadat The Basketball Jones. In a "weak" draft class (no superstar talent at the top), Aaron Craft will probably be a mid-to-late first round pick. If the Blazers could trade their two second rounds for a frist to draft him they should absolutely do it. If you watched the Ohio St. - Michigan game last night, he was the reason they Ohio St. almost won.
"Brooklyn has placed forward Andray Blatche on the market, according to multiple sources," Amico wrote in a column summing up latest trade rumors. "The Nets are looking for a draft pick in return. Portland, looking for ways to shore up its bench, might have an interest." A league source dismissed speculation noting that the Nets aren't looking for an additional pick in this year's draft, which is seen by most scouts as mediocre. The Nets have their own pick in the first round, but no second rounder. SO I guess this has been disputed as not being true, but who knows? It had Portlands name mentioned so I thought id paste it here.
Insight into what the Blazers are thinking? Or insight into how aggressive Pecovic's agent is? You decide...
he makes his debut on the list at no.10 mainly due to the fact that he is averaging around 20 and 10, that and because at the mid way point the blazers are surprisingly still in the playoff hunt.
I like Hickson's answer of not watching football at all, but if you wait 'till the end of the video Luke Babbitt has a surprise pick. Plus his suit looks like he stole it from my grandfather.
