Although Duncan and fellow Spurs mainstay Manu Ginobili have yet to make a formal declaration about their plans for next season, sources told ESPN.com that the Spurs are optimistic about re-signing both at salaries that will also allow them to re-sign prized restricted free agent Kawhi Leonard this summer as well as pursue top-tier free agent LaMarcus Aldridge.

I have dealt with five other general managers with the Blazers; none were smarter, shrewder or more innovative than Olshey, which is saying a lot considering Bob Whitsitt is in that group. A longtime Blazers employee who works closely with Olshey, and who has worked for four other NBA organizations, told me nobody is more impressive than Olshey.
Olshey asserts that LA hasn't informed the Blazers he is leaving; but, according to the Oregonian columnist, "we all know better." I do NOT know what is going on better than the team's General Manager.
