Kevin Durant is having trouble with his surgically-repaired foot, and is being termed "irritation" in the area with the screw. He's out for at least a week, but the status is really unknown.
The Blazers have a 6.5 game lead on 8th seeded Oklahoma City as the teams start the stretch run to the playoffs. They play Friday night in Portland.
Anthony Davis is out 1-2 weeks and Ryan Anderson is out 2-4 weeks. They both had major injuries last year too (Anderson was even taken off the court in a stretcher).
Around the league, the 27-year-old has a reputation of being one of the more underrated defenders. Blazers coach Terry Stotts saw this firsthand during Gee’s time in Cleveland, and even this season when he finished with a game-high three steals back in November’s contest against Denver.
